Do you ever shop online - whether for your weekly shop, one-off purchases, holidays etc? If so, this website will allow you to raise money for Gargunnock Songsters with absolutely no cost or inconvenience to you.
Background Information
- www.easyfundraising.org.uk has linked up with thousands of on-line retailers including Amazon, M&S, John Lewis, travel companies, Groupon, broadband etc, etc, the list is endless.
- When you make a purchase from one of their registered on-line retailers, by going via their website www.easyfundraising.org.uk, the retailer will donate a percentage of your order value to Songsters. The percentage donated varies with each retailer, as do the conditions to when they will make the donations (many make it on every purchase).
- Shortly after you have made a purchase with a retailer in this way you will receive an email telling you what amount the retailer will donate to Songsters.
- The funds accumulated via www.easyfundraising.org.uk automatically get sent to Songsters by bank transfer every quarter.
- The more people we get to join, the more we raise. Please read the information below, register yourselves, ask relatives and friends to support us and we can raise huge amounts of money to support Songsters without it costing you a penny!
How it Works
1. You have to register on the site (takes 2 minutes):
- Click on "Support a good cause", green button mid way down the web page.
- In the "Support Your Cause" section type in "Gargunnock Songsters" and click on "Go".
- On the "Create an Account" page that comes up, enter your personal details and a password, then click on "Create my account" and you’re done!
2. When you want to Shop online:
- Log onto the website www.easyfundraising.org.uk
- Select the retailer you are interested in: Click on the "Retailers" tab and then select the retailer you require.
- Click on "Go Shopping" and the site will direct you to the normal site for that retailer.
- Complete your shopping as usual. The only difference for you is that you go to your retailer's site through www.easyfundraising.org.uk
Useful Tips
- Download the App for your iPhone and iPad or android phone/tablet.
- Put www.easyfundraising.org.uk as your home page so that you don’t forget to use it when you shop online. Simply go onto the web page and at the bottom of the home page click on “set as homepage”. You can stay logged on the site or log on each time you go on-line.
- Install the web site’s “Donation Reminder” facility. This facility alerts you if a donation is available from the website you are currently visiting. To do this click on the “Donation Reminder” button and follow the on screen instructions.
